2. Comments & Forms

When visitors leave comments or submit forms on the site, we collect the data shown in the form fields, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify usage. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

3. Media & Uploads

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

  • Comments: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies for your convenience. These will last for one year.

7. PURCHASE & CANCELLATION POLICIES (LIVE EVENTS)

A. Ticket Registration & Attendance:

Tickets are personal and non-transferable without prior written authorization from the organization. To gain entry at the venue, attendees must present their official QR code received via email upon check-in.

B. Travel and Lodging Responsibility:

SAPS Educational Academy is not responsible for non-refundable flight tickets, hotel reservations, or visa application fees incurred due to date changes or attendee absence. Personal travel insurance is strongly recommended.

C. Schedule, Date, and Venue Modifications:

SAPS Educational Academy reserves the right to modify the academic agenda, faculty speakers, venue, or event dates due to force majeure or international logistics. If event dates are rescheduled, purchased tickets will automatically remain valid for the new dates.

D. Credit & Exchange Policy:

If an attendee is unable to participate, their payment may be credited under the following options:

  • Digital Membership Credit: Apply the balance toward an annual subscription on sapsacademy.com.

  • Future Event Transfer: Transfer the balance toward registration for a future international SAPS event, subject to availability.

  • Colleague Transfer: Transfer the ticket to a medical colleague up to 15 days prior to the event start date by notifying support.

E. Strict No-Refund Policy:

All purchases for tickets, academic passes, social passes, and event registrations are final and strictly non-refundable. Pursuant to Law 45 of 2007 (Consumer Protection Law), given that these are live events with limited seating and restricted scheduling, no monetary refunds will be issued once the transaction is completed.
